Welcome To The CC-UK!

Jeremy Creasey, Chairman
CC-UK is the Communities Committee – UK, a mixture of IET volunteers from around the UK and IET staff members working together.
The Communities Committee United Kingdom (CC-UK) is responsible for the delivery of all IET activities throughout England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
We take this responsibility very seriously and our goal is to support all the local networks across the UK, helping them put on great events and making best use of their valuable volunteering time.

We do this by managing the allocation of annual budgets to each network, providing ad-hoc funding for new ideas and by spreading good practice between networks. Our good practice guides can be found on our communities’ pages.

Most importantly, the CCUK committee members are eager to hear feedback directly from local networks on their experiences of the IET, either via our face-to-face Roadshows or through attending network meetings and events.  Each member of the CC-UK acts as a point of contact for a region of the UK, and will arrange to meet local networks in that area during the year. A full list of CC-UK members can be found in the CC-UK blog section
All our Communities are now beginning the 2017/2018 event season and it is a good time to look forward to the diverse and exciting range of planned activities over the next year.
The IET wants local networks to expand, get creative and promote engineering and technology in their local area.

The CCUK wants to help you make local network events a success, increasing the number of attendees that visit and most importantly, getting more people interested in this exciting field that affects all of our daily lives.

We are always interested in hearing from you, please do get in touch with us through this site, the CC-UK Twitter feed or via email
