Meet The CCUK Committee Members

About the CC-UK

The CC-UK is the body responsible for leading development and providing resources to support the IET’s volunteer-led communities in the UK.

These communities are groups of volunteers who come together to create and share knowledge. They provide networking and professional development opportunities for engineers through online collaborations, events, or a mixture of the two. They are instrumental in helping the IET to achieve its charitable remit. There are a number of different types of community, they might be geographic – local networks of volunteers living and working in the same location; technical networks – volunteers united by their area of interest or expertise; or demographic – groups of young professionals, or retired engineers.

The CC-UK ensures a consistency of approach in the way that communities operate and report their activities.

Committee Membership and Structure

With over 120,000 IET members in this Region, the CC-UK forms an important part of the IET Governance Structure, and manages a highly energetic core of IET activity.
