Our March volunteer of the month is Dr Rich Baker (MIET), Director of TriboTonic Ltd based in London, UK, set up to support tribology and petroleum companies across Europe.After spending the last 16 year working and helping PCS Instruments grow into the World Leader in Tribology Equipment, through a variety of roles, including sales, marketing and business development, Rich set up his own company in 2019 to help support Tribology and Petroleum customers across Europe through sales, support and service of existing and new equipment. Tribotonic sells PCS Instruments, Falex Tribology equipment along with CFR IQT fuel test machines across Europe.


Rich has a PhD in Tribology from Imperial College and has been an IET member for over 6 years and served in a variety of volunteer roles in the IET including chairman of the Tribology network for 3 years.
