On 14th June 2016, the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Through-Life Engineering Services at Cranfield University Bedford will be hosting the fourth International Symposium on No Fault Found (NFF).

This year the main focus is on Solutions and Success stories. The themes that will be considered are:

•         The costs and impact of NFF to organisations

•         NFF causes and research

•         NFF resolution and reduction

The existence of No Fault Found (NFF) situations has been shown to have a definite negative impact upon critical operations which often include system safety, dependability, reliability and Through-Life support. At the fourth International NFF Symposium to be held on 14th June at Cranfield University, experts from a wide range of industries will be coming together to discuss the problem and solutions.

Highlights will include an update from the European and USA practitioners and academics on their progress with providing solutions to tackle the NFF problem. This will include:

•         Solutions for under-recording, specific solutions for Defence, Aerospace and Rail Systems,

•         Continuous Improvement processes to tackle the NFF related human factors, culture, policy and process solutions

•         Tools and processes to avoid NFF driven warranty claims.

The Symposium is aimed at Operations, Engineering, Asset managers, Maintenance Managers and Electronics and Diagnostic specialists.
