Control And Automation PhD Award

Do you know any students who deserve to be recognised for their achievement?  The deadline for the IET's Control and Automation PhD Award is fast approaching! 

In its 4th year now, and developed by the IET’s Control & Automation Network, this free to enter award aims to recognise research excellence in the Control & Automation field at PhD level.  The award is open to all relevant PhD students in the general area of control and automation who have undertaken research during the calendar year preceding the closing date for nominations.

It will no doubt offer an invaluable credential to the winner’s CV who will also receive a £500 cash prize.


Nominations are now open for the 2014 award.   Nomination form 

Nominations need to be supported by references from three individuals

The candidate's principal research supervisor;
Another academic staff member from the nominee's university;
A person from outside the nominee's university.
