The Network’s next event will be a workshop on Connected Corridors on 13 July 2017 at IET Austin Court, Birmingham and will be joint with Highways England.

The Network volunteers recently finalised their activity programme for the 2017-18 session and at their next committee meeting later this week they will be starting to develop the plan. Here are some of the activities they have lined up:
- Follow on event to the successful Electrification in Motorsports Seminar
- Connected Corridors Hackathon joint with Highways England
- Vehicle to Grid Seminar – joint with IET Power Electronics, Machines & Drives Network
- Cyber Security and Big Data are also themes that cropped up during the planning stage which will be explored further at the meeting.
