Hello there! I'm Halimatus, but people call me Haley for short. Currently, I'm working as a Sales Engineer in the data centre industry, where I propose solutions to critical facilities like banks, semiconductor factories, system integrators and others. I have a passion for music that I play the piano during my pastime. Apart from that, I love running as well that I train for marathons occasionally. I started off with IET back in the year 2018, when it was introduced to me by my colleague who asked me to participate as a volunteer at one of the IET Local Network's event. It didn't take me long to realize that this organization can indeed be a platform to help me grow as an individual that I've converted myself to become a member right after! One of the primary reasons why I love IET is that it gives me the ability to connect with people of different backgrounds from different parts of the world! I'm always interested in exchanging stories, experiences and ideas, so please feel free to connect!

I am Yew Sze Yen aka Monkey. Nice to meet you all. I am from Georgetown, Penang. I’m currently a final year Chemical Engineering student in UTAR Sungai Long Campus. I joined UTAR IET On Campus from 2017 until now. I was also Chairperson of UTAR IET On Campus of 2018/2019 and Engineering & Science Fiesta 2019. I also have a passion to organize STEM-related events in my university. I successfully organized Engineering & Science Fiesta 2019 in UTAR (one of the biggest event in Sungai Long Campus) and awarded as the Best Event in UTAR among the 40+ events in term 2018/2019. I’m looking forward to enhancing my talents and give whatever I can to schools and society.

Hi, I am Peter Ling from Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. I started joining IET in 2015, when I won the Asia Pacific final of Present Around The World (PATW) Competition in Beijing, and subsequently represented the region in the global final held in London. Leading the Swinburne Sarawak IET (SSIET) On Campus team in 2018/19, we had won the IET On Campus Group of the Year Award (GOTYA). Hope to expand my network, and contribute more towards the IET.
