As December, traditionally seen as a month for reflection on the year, draws to a close it is important not only to look back on what we have done but also consider where we might want to go. January is often a time for new beginnings, and as we head into a new year (and in fact a whole new decade) many of us will be making new year's resolutions for what we want to achieve in 2020 and beyond.  So whilst you're thinking about your new year's resolutions or new plans for the year ahead, why not take a moment to reflect on your achievements and consider what your next steps are. Whether you're considering professional registration and not sure what to do, or are a seasoned career professional who is maintaining a broad engineering knowledge, the IET is here for you to support your development.

From our events and training courses, and knowledge services through to our valued and experienced volunteers we can provide any support or guidance you need with your development and also provide a handy place to record all of the CPD activities when they have been completed.

Why not take a moment to consider what you have done, and even share some of the high points of your development year in the comments below.

We wish you all a successful 2020 and we'll be here to help if you need us.
