The IET and CMI have worked together to produce a customised programme for Incorporated and Chartered Engineers, meaning candidates are except from 50-60% of the usual programme.
These fast track programmes allow delegates to learn important ideas, techniques and overall competencies that will improve effectiveness and performance within a team or organisation.
As well as the Diploma which can be obtained from completing one of these courses, the cost of the course will also include the fast track application to become a Chartered Manager should you wish to pursue this afterwards.
We host three different levels of the CMI course, and below is a general overview of each course:
CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership (for Incorporated Engineers and Chartered Engineers) - The Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership programme provides a broad-based, practical learning of important ideas, techniques and overall competencies that will improve effectiveness and performance. It has been designed for middle managers and those aspiring to senior management. It is generally recommended that delegates have 3 years' management experience prior to attending this level.

CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership (for Chartered Engineers)
The Level 5 Extended Diploma offers a much greater breadth of topics and increased opportunity to develop your Leadership and Management skills in a wider variety of areas compared to the previously mentioned Level 5 course. This course is also designed for practicing middle to senior managers who wish to develop their core management skills and practices.
CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership: 05 October 2017
CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (for Chartered Engineers) - This qualification in Strategic Management & Leadership programme helps managers develop the capabilities they need as well as concentrating on the practical application of the theory and principles in the job role and provides an excellent foundation for continuing development and improved performance. This programme has been developed for directors and senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, and is recommended that delegates have 5 years' management experience with strategic responsibility prior to attending.
