I would like to thank everyone who attended the Inaugural Chairman's Reception last Thursday, 1 December 2016 at The Metropolitan Hotel on William Street in the Melbourne CBD.


I was very pleased to see that we had a good attendance on the evening. There was  representation from across industry, academia, other kindred professional organisations, recent presenters and workshop presenters, students and of course our committee members including the YPS.


I was also very pleased to see that everyone took the opportunity to network with the guests that included students, young engineers as well as seasoned and retired engineers.

A great deal of knowledge and experience was happily exchanged around the room!

Judging from the excitement and satisfaction that everyone's expectations were met gives the LN reason to organise another networking event soon. Stay tuned!
