Cambridge Sustainable Technology Meetup is a group for people interested in the technology involved in sustainable development, e.g. renewable energy, electric vehicles or precision agriculture.

A lot of the emerging products in these areas-  whether it's electric bikes or smart meters - can be improved upon by individual engineers and make for great projects. Previous sessions with the group include a a workshop for building a Raspberry Pi based agricultural sensor, and a demonstration on building e-bikes; later this year there will be workshops exploring the use of machine learning in the energy industry.
