Find out more...The Antennas and Propagation TPN hosted their first 2 day event last week in Austin Court Birmingham. It was a successful event with over 50 delegates hearing the latest research on RF materials and antenna manufacturing techniques. During the course of the two days; we heard lots of interesting and varied talks from a variety of speakers from industry and academia, including University of Birmingham, University of Exeter and BAE Systems.

There was lots of networking over some lovely lunches from Austin Court and some post conference networking over dinner and drinks for some of the delegates.

The seminar ended with a panel session featuring some of the speakers:  Professor Yiannis Vardaxoglou, Professor Woon-Hong Yeo, Murray Niman. The session was chaired by committee member Costas Constantinou and during the session a variety of topics were covered including what applications are anticipated in 5 and in 10 years’ time and what barriers exist to development & exploitation in relevant environments.
