Welcome to The IET Teesside Network
The IET Teesside Network Committee endeavours to serve the local community and works hard to assist our members to progress their Continued Professional Development. We organise lectures, presentations and routes to registration events. We also support the local education establishments through our Schools Liaison Scheme and offer local colleges the opportunity to submit their students for entry into our annual student of excellence awards. The Committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month (with the exception of June, July, August and September) at Teesside University. We would welcome any newcomers to the area who wish to come along either to see what goes on, offer ideas for future events or are even prepared to take on a little more and become an active member of the Teesside Network Committee. The Committee also supports the greater IET community by providing career development mentors, professional registration advisors, review panel members and IET Connect (the benevolent fund) representatives.
The Local Network is active in social activities and organises an Annual Dinner and Reunion.
