The annual IET Northumbria students' projects competition, organised by Dr Peter Minns, IET Northumbria Network Chairman, was held this year on 8th March at Northumbria University. The entries from all three of the local universities, Newcastle, Sunderland and Northumbria were of a very high standard with topics including ‘Biometric recognition’ and ‘Reduction in operational CO2 emissions of buildings’.
After extensive discussions with the candidates, the judges Sheng Yuan and Paul Cordes arrived at their decisions as shown in the attached spreadsheet.
