It is with great pleasure that we announce the launching of the second joint IET/IEEE GCC robotics competition, http://gccroboticschallenge.com/.

This competition is an outstanding vehicle to promote and demonstrate state-of-the-art technologies in robotics and their applications.  The competition is open for young students and engineers. Local rounds will be held in each GCC country and the final round will take place in Qatar. In addition to the robotics challenge this will present an opportunity to gather all experts and young engineers to an open interaction event to discuss and promote recent advances in robotics. We are honored to invite you to participate in the robotics competition. Registration is now open through the competition website. Awards and paid travel expenses will be presented to winning teams from each GCC country to participate in the final competition in Qatar.
