Through each of these components they are tasked (working during the FLL season lasting about a period of 8weeks) with the responsibility of carrying out research on an annual theme by offering innovative solutions to issues, Build, design and program robots to carry out certain missions on the FLL table and also interviewed based on the Core Values of FLL - Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition.  At the end of the 8-week period the team will compete for honours and in subsequent years the winning team will be able to represent Nigeria at the FLL World Festival or other international competitions.

The program launched in Abuja and Lagos in November with public and private schools, afterschool clubs and some NGOs registering teams to participate in the regional tournaments coming up in March 2015. The launch in Lagos at the hall of the Oregun High School in Ikeja had 200 students from 20 public schools and 40 teachers in attendance.
