An interesting fact about SA:

Most Festival state in Australia, one volunteer told me that they have the second largest Fringe Festival in the world.

Hot sectors:  Biomedical, Aerospace, Defence.



SA & NT YPS

About IET SA & NT Network:

YPS was  established in 2014 with just 2 members (Ben and James) and currently they have 10 members.  They organised events such as the life skills workshops, their first Women Engineers event took place earlier this year (3 talks and networking event) this year.  Main committee organised a very successful Networking event with the Australia Minister of Defence as keynote speaker.

It is the first time I’ve met two volunteers (father and son:  John and Conor Noonan) who joined the Main committee and YPs.  I’ve also met Maged (YP), the brother of the Immediate Past Chairman Mohamed of SA who recently moved to Victoria.
