Synopsis: THE ART OF BEING ASSERTIVE

Many of us find it difficult to say no. This often results in us being weighed down with extra work and ultimately feeling overly pressured and undervalued. This workshop aims to provide you with the basic skills to be assertive, to ensure that your opinions are counted, so that you can take control of your work-life balance.

Assertiveness involves directly communicating what you want in such a way as to appear neither threatening nor punishing nor condescending. Assertiveness is not something that comes naturally to us; it is a learned behaviour. This workshop will discuss the effective steps to acquire assertive behaviour. It will benefit anyone who finds it difficult to be assertive in their life.
