An interesting fact about WA:

Perth is the most isolated capital in Australia, it takes less time to fly to Bali, Indonesia (3 hours) than to any other capital cities in Australia (more than 3 hours).

Hot sectors:  Mining, Oil and Gas.

About IET WA Network: 

They have a strong YPS team, about 20 members.  One of their flagship activity/program:  Leadership program.  They have just set up their first On Campus group at Curtin University.  Their "How to win a job" workshop is a best practice event that other Aussie Young Professionals sections are now orgainising at their LNs copied from WA.  


Great to meet up with the WA Network members earlier and good to hear that they have just started running Leadership Programme 2017.   They have just set up an On Campus group in Curtin University, they will soon set up new On Campus groups at other universities in WA.
