My shares ISA, out of one big hole into another!

So I sold my shares in Sirius Minerals, at a profit, but they didn’t turn out to be the shares I could retire on.


So in my infinite wisdom I bought some shares in Anglo American shares, the company that is taking them over.

I think I’m just going to have to sit this one out until next year ?


It does appear there’s going issues in many industries sourcing platinum including car manufacturing.

  • Anglo Platinum Chief Executive Chris Griffith said on a call with media that the plant is "an integral part of our processing chain," and that it will take about two years to catch up on processing the material that will be continue to be mined during the shutdown.
