EngTech Interview

Hello, I have been approached by a colleague who is applying for EngTech registration and have been told they are to have an interview. Can anyone advise any interview details for EngTech applicants and how to prepare? When I achieved EngTech I didn't have to interview, I don't want to provide advise based on the IEng interview if it does not cross over to EngTech level registrations.

    Hi Chris,

    I have never heard of an EngTech applicant having an interview - is it the IET who have advised this officially in response to the application or is it someone (even a PRA) who has been told ‘applying for registration’ and not realised it is EngTech rather than IEng or CEng?

    Late edit This probably sits better under ‘Careers’ rather than ‘Ask the Community’ so don't be surprised if it moves
