Corona. Situation may not be as black as it is painted.

Light at the end of the tunnel....

  • That article is a statement of the bleedin' obvious.

I have been wondering about the so-called "asymptomatic" cases. How would anybody know that they had been infected, and why would they be tested except for contact tracing (as in Singapore) and testing? Could they have been immune and, therefore, did not get infected?

The same consideration goes for the mild cases - could they have partial immunity from previous corona virus infection? The Covid-19 virus is not the only one.

Nobody knows the natural history of the disease - what would have happened if we had done nothing.

Might it be that Italy is nearing its peak already?

All of this will doubtless be revealed when the public health specialists, epidemiologists, and virologists have dome their research.

In the mean time, yes the situation may not be as black as it has been painted.
  • Not sure I'd always base decisions on opinion from Russia Today though ? I'll stick to WHO and the NHS for now...
  • There was me thinking that it was the Radio Times   ?
