  • District Heating and Combined Heat and Power Debate

    (Dec 18, 2013)
Category: Events/Conferences This was an excellent debate on the topic 'District Heating & CHP'. Sheffield has for many years, led the way with this form of energy provision which serves many of the cities centrally located domestic, commercial & academic buildings. The format of the debate allowed much more audience interaction with a selected panel of specialists chaired by Professor Roger Kemp from the University of Lancaster. The whole event can be viewed on IETtv and is the second in a series on Nationwide debates planned on this topic. The series was requested initially by DECC and via the IET's Energy Sector, LN's have been asked to facilitate the provision and structure of these debates. Alan Chater CEng FIET.
