Group Information

The Surrey Local Network is made up of nearly 5,000 engineers and technicians in and around the county of Surrey. We hold regular meetings, normally once a month on the third Wednesday apart from during the summer break. These meetings are usually held at the University of Surrey in Guildford in a lecture theatre or the Lakeside Restaurant in the Rik Medlik Building.

Our events are free to attend by IET members and the general public with refreshments and networking opportunities provided. Breaking news or event updates will be posted on this page. Unless otherwise advertised events open at 7pm with lectures starting promptly at 7.30pm.

If you are a member or have a regular interest you should register on this communities website which will give you access to further functions.
