Group Information

The IET Women's Network is an online, global, professional networking community for women in STEM, where individuals can interact, share information, knowledge and business contacts in addition to signing up to some of the latest volunteer opportunities.

Comprising of almost 2,000 individuals, this platform provides members and non-members with numerous collaborative opportunities, most of which can be used to enhance your CPD.
Inspired by the lack of women in engineering roles in the UK, the network was set up in 2012 with the aim of utilising it's members to help spread a positive message of women in STEM, offer support to those already in the profession, help to inspire the next generation and demystify engineering and related areas to the wider community.

This platform is also beneficial to those on a career break who still wish to remain engaged in the industry and make new contacts.
