The forthcoming conference will be held on 24 to 25 May 2017 at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong followed by a technical visit on 26 May 2017.

The International Conference on Railway Engineering (ICRE) is held every three years in Hong Kong with the objective to provide a forum for sharing knowledge and experience; promoting collaboration among practitioners; as well as revealing recent development and applications of new technologies in railway engineering.

The organiser, Railway and Transport Section of the IET Hong Kong is composed of engineering professionals from disciplines of electrical, electronics, industrial, mechanical and railway engineering. In this connection, the conference is a railway event of high regard in the industry.

Have you attended one of the recent IET Railway Events?  If so, why not let others know about it and leave a review?
We have had lots of events that you can comment on, but the most recent ones have been  the Chitlern Depot Visit, the Annual Lecture and Dinner 2016, the Romford visit, and the visit to SWT-NR Basingstoke.  Let us know the most interesting parts of the events, what did you learn, what did you see and did you take any photographs?

What would you like to see the Railway Network Focus on - we want your ideas.
Railway are a big online community and we are looking for your help and ideas for what you would like to see us plan for in the next session.
Let us know and get involved in the discussion.
