Early Career Professionals Best Railway Paper 2017 - Come along and support the YPs
16th November, IET London:  Savoy Place @ 18.00

Come and hear our Railway Young Professional speakers give their short presentations and demonstrate their presentation skills by presenting to a panel of expert judges on a technical subject of their choice.  This offers Young Professionals the opportunity to showcase their presentation skills on a railway technical topic of their choosing.

Anyone may attend as part of the audience so if you have an interest in railway engineering and technology come along and support the event.

Security of Network and Information Systems [NIS] Directive - Policy Keys (Government consultations)
The Institution of Engineering and Technology Trustees propose submitting a response to this consultation and invite comments from Members who have expertise in this area and have studied the consultation documents. In its capacity as a professional body the IET will confine itself to only addressing those questions that are within its area(s) of competence.
Members contributing are asked to state their relevant experience. All inputs will be treated confidentially in the production of a corporate view and individual contributors will not be named. “Member” should be interpreted as IET Members, Fellows and Honorary Fellows.

Does the North get a raw deal on rail?
The Mayor of Manchester  has argues that the North of England is underserved in terms of rail infrasctructure.  Get involved in the discussion and  let us know what you think.
