Welcome to the 2015/16 Session!

Dear colleagues,

As the chairs of the two IET Local Networks in South Wales, we once again take pleasure in welcoming you to this year’s programme of events which we hope you’ll enjoy and find informative.

This year, as well as our two main Local Networks offering a range of general interest engineering related events, our two Young Proffesional Sections offering events tailored for students and early career engineers and our three existing specialist sections organising events related to Electronics, Manufacturing and Power, we are pleased to announce a new Healthcare Specialist Section.

Coming up over the next twelve months, you can expect a programme of technical lectures, family events, social and networking opportunities, CPD sessions and of course our annual South Wales dinner. Details of all of our events will be posted on this page.

The session kicks off on Thursday 15th October with events in both Cardiff and Swansea:

We look forward to seeing you!
