Description:
IET Scotland South West Young Professionals represent all the students and young professionals of the IET who live or work in South West Scotland. Our committee are a mix of student and graduate members who meet regularly and organise a wide variety of interesting and professional activities, which allow young members to develop their careers, make contacts, and have fun!
 
The committee organise a wide range of activities ranging from technical visits, presentations workshops and professional development events, to social events and networking opportunities.

Do you have what it takes to win £1000? The Present Around the World (PATW) competition is organised by the IET to develop and improve the presenting and public speaking skill of Young Professional Engineers and Engineering Students globally.

The Present Around the World (PATW) competition is organised by the IET to develop and improve the presenting and public speaking skill of Young Professional Engineers and Engineering Students globally.  
 
The competition is a very simple concept; deliver a 10 minute presentation on any engineering or technology subject of your choice (followed by 5 minutes of questions) to win up to £100! It's that simple!
