EECON 2017 Call for abstracts now open!

The program committee of the National Electric Energy Conference 2017 (EECON 2017) invite authors to submit abstracts for consideration as an oral presentation in the program.

The conference’s theme is “Collaboration and Innovation: Adapting Today’s Grid for Tomorrow’s Future” and will focus on:

- Technology and policy transforming the electricity sector
- Transitioning to a low emission economy
- Best practices and market operations

The conference is hosted by the the Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) and will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 22 & 23 November 2017. More details at:

A technical site visit hosted by Seven Network and organised by the IET Victoria LN took place on Tuesday, 7 March 2007 at 1pm at the Network’s Broadcast Centre in Docklands, Melbourne attended by a limited group of 15 engineers that were quick to register for what proved to be an extremely informative ‘behind the scenes’ tour. ​
