IET Hong Kong is one of the largest local Network of The IET with more than 5,000 members. To better address a broad range of members' needs, the Hong Kong Network has a main Branch Committee with six Technical Section Committees and a Younger Members Section to organise activities of different professional subjects.

Established in 2005, the IET dragon boat team has been racing in Hong Kong waters including Stanley, Shatin, Sai Kung, Tai po and Mui Woo over the past years and is in the process of recruiting new members for races scheduled for 2017!
