All profits will go to the charity WaterAid who work to empower women through clean water and sanitation around the world.

Speakers and Trainers
Dr Lisa Brodie, Head of Engineering, Design & Maths at UWE
Lisa is Head of Department at UWE, and is a Chartered Engineer by trade. She has over 15 years’ experience in engineering in a variety of different roles, including working as a Senior Consultant for the aerospace industry. She sits on the Board of Trustees for Aerospace Bristol, and the Engineering Professor’s Council.
Lisa is passionate about encouraging diversity within engineering, and uses her platform as Head of Department to design a curriculum which is as inclusive as possible.
Dr Emily Grossman, Scientist, STEM Ambassador & Public Speaker
Emily is an internationally acclaimed author, public speaker and TV personality. A trained scientist, actress and maths and science teacher, Emily is a passionate advocate for gender equality and diversity in STEM. As an experienced communication and media skills trainer, Emily has run dozens of workshops and training courses across the globe. One of her aims is to support others to be able to communicate clearly, engagingly and with confidence about their work.
Emily was recently named as the second Honorary STEM Ambassador, alongside astronaut Tim Peake, for her pioneering work in STEM education.
Graham Proud, Four Steps Training
Graham will be delivering a 2-hour skills workshop on influencing and personal impact.
Graham has worked as a Learning & Development Consultant for over 20 years, during which time he has helped many individuals transform and reach their full potential both in the UK and internationally. Prior to this time, Graham worked as a Change Manager for Royal & Sun Alliance and as a Customer Service Manager within a busy and successful HSBC call centre. He founded Four Steps Training in 2003 and has worked with a host of customers, from large blue-chip organisations, to a number of charities and small start-up businesses.
Graham has worked with Business4Life in support of WaterAid since 2006 and is really looking forward to the Women in Engineering event in February.
Colin Skellett OBE, CEO Wessex Water
Colin is a chartered chemist, holds an MSc in engineering and is a fellow of both the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Water and Environmental Management and honorary doctorates from UWE and Bristol. Colin is currently Group Chief Executive of Wessex Water, chair of The Gainsborough Bath Spa Hotel and Thermae Bath Spa, Non-Executive Chair of European Connoisseurs Travel and Chair of YTL Land and Property UK.
Colin was involved in the formation of the charity WaterAid and served on its council for several years. In 2012, he was awarded an OBE for services to business and WaterAid.
