Designing AI Systems for Humans
Approved 1
The world we live in can be divided into the natural and the built world. Logically, everything in the built world should be designed for us to use; often, this is not the case. This lecture will highlight some of the issues when designing AI technologies for humans, and offer some solutions from both the natural world and an engineering perspective.

Dr Jan Noyes is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Bristol, UK. She is a Chartered Psychologist who has worked extensively with engineers and industry on designing systems and products for users throughout her career of some 40 years.
