Delivering for Durrell

Durrell’s Go Wild Gorillas campaign captured the hearts of Islanders and visitors to Jersey and raised significant funds to help Durrell build a new enclosure for the zoo’s much-loved gorillas. Hear from the team behind the project on how they delivered such a successful campaign.

The Association of Project Management are delighted to welcome Durrell as our guest speakers for the first APM Jersey event of 2020.

Open to all, the event is focused on the project behind the campaign and will provide unique first-hand insight on Durrell’s ‘Rewild our world’ vision for a wilder, healthier, and more colourful future. Delivering for Durrell is an event aiming to highlight a different type of project, the event will bring fresh insights to the local project management profession.

Beth Gallichan, Fundraising Manager at Durrell will talk on Durrell’s vision, how the Go Wild Gorillas project originated, the campaign objectives, risks and issues, the highs, and lows, the challenges of managing a project with so many collaborators, reaching new audiences, unexpected occurrences and what comes next.

Free return transport from Liberation Square, St Helier to Jersey Zoo is available for up to 40 delegates. Please confirm with the APM, via this survey, if transport is required so a space can be allocated. Thank you.
