IET Members and BREXIT

Allow me to express surprise! Surprise that, with the date of March 29 approaching, the IET in general and the EMEA Group in particular appears to have done nothing to support those Members living in the EU outside the UK. I have seen no advice either directly or (better) via the Local Network structure.

One can hope that these thousand or so Members have had the good sense to do something to protect their rights but it would seem blindingly obvious that the IET had a role to play. In the worst case scenario, they could find themselves applying for permission to continue to live in their own house in the same way that EU citizens living in the UK may have to do.

I'm afraid that I cannot understand the IET's silence on this matter nor why the EMEA Group members have failed to identify the issue.
