Arab ICT-2016 is an annual event, it became as a part of a number of Arab engineering sectors related to the Arab Engineering Association. Arab ICT- is located and headed by IET Fellow Member (Eng. Saleh Tarada -Bahrain LN), and now member of the (Manama Capital Trust Council) in Bahrain. Arab ICT-2016 will take place in Manama also, and IET – Bahrain LN will support to ARAB ICT-2016 to do the prints of the ARAB ICT-2016 program booklet.
The event will take place on 25th of October at the Gulf Convention Centre, where it will be attended by considerable attendees. Arab ICT-2016 will mention IET support, and will be given in terms of:
- Posting the IET logo over Arab ICT-2016 prints.
- IET Movies will be shown during the event.
- Got 8 seats for YPs to attend the event, under IET support to YPs.
- A table for IET flyers and other prints will be located.
- IET Rollup poster will be placed at forum site.

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Committee
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Committee is one of the Permanent Technical Committees of the Federation of Arab Engineers, based in Bahrain. The purpose of this Committee is to achieve the following:
Contribute to the development of skills and talent of ICT engineers
Encourage and support scientific , various engineering and technical activities in the ICT field
Organize courses , workshops, forums and conferences related to ICT
Make use of ICT for collaboration between engineers
Identify experiences, strategic plans and projects in the Arab countries for the development of the ICT sector
Highlight ideas and proposals that will achieve the development and integration of communication networks and information technology in the Arab world.
Encourage private sector investment in the telecommunications industry and information technology in the Arab world.
