Aecom and Optimise EU are looking for a woman engineer to debate against engineers from other institutions as part of raising awareness for International Women in Engineering Day on 23 June 2017.
Details of the event are provided below.
Debate premise: “There has been an apocalypse and there is one last spot on the boat that will sail away to start a new beginning. Which institution deserves that spot and why?”
When: Friday 23rd June 2017
Time: 10:30 – 11:30 am
Where: Institution of Mechanical Engineers, 1 Birdcage Walk, SW11 9JJ
Audience: approx. 40 Key Stage 4/ Key Stage 5 students
Aim: To promote the wide range of engineering careers that women work in via an engaging debate. The event will also be streamed live as a webinar
