Muses are women of all ages, social and educational backgrounds, industries, sectors and job roles. You can share the details of how you got where you are, the subjects you studied, the things/people that you found useful (or not!), your journey, and your career experiences and aspirations. Every woman can be a role model, and a girl searching for "I'm studying chemistry" will be presented with a diverse collection of people who studied chemistry once upon a time and provide details of a broad range of careers that people followed from that starting point.


It is a great way for girls to have visible role models, particularly when they are considering the career paths based on the subjects they like at school. The more women who sign up to showcase their STEM career, the more likely young girls will see STEM careers as something that they too could pursue.
