A call for evidence on how to improve railway Wi-Fi signals has been launched by the UK Government as part of an ambitious plan to deliver improved onboard mobile and Wi-Fi connections.
According to Scotrail, my journey to Carlisle is: 'The scenic route to Carlisle takes you deep into Scotland’s history, past the battlefields of Robert the Bruce, through Dumfries and Gretna Green. Look out for the rolling farmland, forests, and Beltie cows from the train.'
For me, this means a journey with no/very limited phone or wifi signal from any source due to the lack of mast in the 'rolling farmlands'.
I hope this is for all journeys and that 2025 is the very end date.
