Ultra high speed technology- Hyperloop

Can Hyperloop be the future of transportation ? In few years, there will be new hyperloop in Dubai, U.A.E to connect all emirates.

I am curious to know more about it . Is any one working on this kind of project ? Share your opinion.

    Initially, can you see the hyperloop being used mainly for Cargo rather than passengers to try to mitigate any safety issues?

    Any transport system to be certified safe has to go through intense validation process. As currently All systems used in Railway systems have to conform to CENELEC SIL 4 standards. There are set standards followed by differnt countries with respect to passenger transportation systems. Hence Hyperloop technology should also be certified safe through a thorough validation before it can be deployed. Using it for cargo is one of the first steps.

    Did you see the Photos of the Hyperloop test track in Nevada 


    There are real technical hurdles for Hyperloop one to overcome and it will be interesting to see how these are engineered around.
