Being reminded that today back in 1935 Sir Malcolm Campbell became the first person to drive an automobile at over 300mph with a top speed of 304.331mph, I came across this short video recording the achievement.
At the time, it must have been an amazing achievement, yet eighty years later, Bloodhound is looking to achieve the 1000mph world land speed record.
I wonder in another centenary what the world land speed record will look like and what technologies will have been developed to achieve that. Interesting to hear another community members' feedback/thoughts on this.
