- Provide a forum for knowledge sharing and networking both within the sector and crucially externally from it - recognising that the nuclear sector can be insular.

It is recognised that the nuclear sector faces common challenges/issues. We have created a topic list that outline our focused issues:

- Issue 3 – Integration of Cyber Security and Safety Assessment of C&I systems/components
- Issue 4 – Asset Management approaches
In addition to the knowledge sharing events the NE TPN is also seeking to promote nuclear engineering through visits to particular sites.
