Coming up in 2019...

Our purpose for the Nuclear Engineering Technical Professional Network (NE TPN):
  • Promote nuclear engineering and attract people into the sector.

  • Provide a forum for knowledge sharing  and networking both within the sector and crucially externally from it - recognising that the nuclear sector  can be insular.

Upcoming Topics
It is recognised that the nuclear sector faces common challenges/issues. We have created a topic list that outline our focused issues:

  • Issue 1 – Cabling

  • Issue 2 – Software Diversity and Qualification

  • Issue 3 – Integration of Cyber Security and Safety Assessment of C&I systems/components

In addition to the knowledge sharing events the NE TPN is also seeking to promote nuclear engineering through visits to particular sites.
