Are you working on 5G or 6G?

Dear Community

I am currently conducting some research into 6G and would be interested to understand who in the UK is working on research in this area.  I have found that the University of Bristol, University of Surrey and KCL are developing a 5G test bed; is anyone else doing anything?

    Hi Anthony

    Thank you for getting back to me.  I was aware of the 5GPPP work but not the UK5G organisation. Thank you for the steer.  I am assuming the majority of academic research in this area is coming from University of Bristol, KCL and University of Surrey at the moment?  Or are there other academic organisations in the UK leading the field too?  Is there a sense that the work that is being done as part of the 5G work could be commercialised for 5G or 6G depending on the time to develop, test and get approved?

    Thanks for any steer/info you can provide to help in my research.
