Did you know that the IET provide mentoring support for members that are interested in developing their career and working toward professional registration?

 

We have an increasing need for mentors within the built environment, particularly from those pursuing professional registration as a Chartered Engineer within this sector. 

 

We are currently looking for new mentors with an interest in helping others develop; particularly as they work toward professional registration as a CEng or IEng and as such are seeking those that have already attained professional registration.  Training is available for those willing to undertake the role, and this includes an overview of the current requirements for professional registration, so even if you have never considered volunteering before we can provide everything you need to undertake the role.

 

Pairings are made on a local basis or e-mentoring basis but it’s up to you if you would prefer to mentor on only a local basis, or would like to support mentors from across the IET’s networks.
