Do companies, especially smaller companies, know what to do and where to turn for help and advice. Is it a reactive rather than proactive response that currently happens?
There definitely needs to be more help for smaller business, many of whom won't even have appropriate staff (ie IT) to search for advice, let alone implement a strategy
A new "Cyber Security Cluster" in Norfolk had its first meeting yesterday, one in Suffolk is to follow. For those trying to design in embedded IoT security, resources are very thin indeed. There is scope for the IET to champion this area.....
