Quantum communication is a growing research area and it will change the direction of telecommunication research over the coming years by ushering in new computing, networking and communication paradigms.IET Quantum Communication - is one of the latest fully Gold Open Access journals from The Institution of Engineering and Technology. It is the dedicated platform for publishing novel research and original survey articles in quantum communication research.

Editors-in-Chief
IET Quantum Communication is led by two excellent Editors-in-Chief, Dr Shahid Mumtaz at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Portugal and Professor Mohsen Guizani, Qatar University, Qatar.
Dr Shahid Mumtaz is an ACM Distinguished speaker, IEEE Senior member, Vice Chair: Europe/Africa Region- IEEE ComSoc: Green Communications & Computing society and Vice-chair for IEEE standard on P1932.1: Standard for Licensed/Unlicensed Spectrum Interoperability in Wireless Mobile Networks. He has more than 12 years of wireless industry/academic experience. He has been with Instituto de Telecomunicações since 2011 where he currently holds the position of Auxiliary Researcher and adjunct positions with several universities across the Europe-Asian Region.
He is the author of 4 technical books, 12 book chapters, 150+ technical papers (100+ Journal/transaction, 60+ conference, 2 IEEE best paper Award- in the area of mobile communications.
Professor Mohsen Guizani is a Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department in Qatar University, Qatar. He served as the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Speaker and is currently the IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer. He is a Fellow of IEEE and a Senior Member of ACM.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Network Magazine, serves on the editorial boards of several international technical journals and the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing journal (Wiley). He has received three teaching awards and four research awards. He also received the 2017 IEEE Communications Society WTC Recognition Award as well as the 2018 AdHoc Technical Committee Recognition Award for his contribution to outstanding research in wireless communications and Ad-Hoc Sensor networks. He was the Chair of the IEEE Communications Society Wireless Technical Committee and the Chair of the TAOS Technical Committee.
